Covenant Impact Center

We have a passion and desire to meet the needs of those who live in the Southeast side of Fort Wayne.

We want to lead a movement of enriching lives and supporting families so that together, we can IMPACT the community we live in.

The Community Impact Center will house and conduct the following programs:

  • Mental Health Counseling
  • Covenant Christian Academy Preschool
  • “Restore and Renew” Programming. Mentoring men/women that have been incarcerated.
  • Sports Academy – Baseball, Basketball, and Soccer
  • English as a Second Language Courses
  • Parenting and Pre-natal Care Education
  • Financial Literacy
  • Diversity Training
  • Free Cafe
  • Job Placement

Southeast Fort Wayne Statistics

  • The most diverse area of Ft. Wayne, the southeast quadrant, has approximately 52,210 citizens, within three zip codes: 46803, 46806 and 46816.
  • This quadrant has households that speak many different languages, including African (2.6%), Vietnamese (4.3%), Burmese (22.9%), Spanish (26%) and English (44.2%)
  • Even with a diverse range of household incomes in this area, the southeast quadrant has the lowest average income per household in Ft. Wayne at $28,960.
  • The 46806 zip code had the fourth-highest rate of infant mortality in Indiana: 24.1 deaths per 1000 live births among blacks, compared to 15.3 overall, and 33 infants died in the 46806 zip code alone. No other Ft. Wayne area lost more than 19 babies during the same time period.
  • The southeast quadrant has the highest crime rate in Ft. Wayne. In 2017, the Ft. Wayne Police Dept. responded to 49,956 calls in that quadrant of the city alone. In 2017, the southeast quadrant had 20 homicides, 42 reported rapes, 119 robberies and 229 aggravated assault investigations out of 2,922 crimes reported.
